When we want to spread light, we need to become the light. The brightest part of us is our aura; it is the light that shines from us and connects us to our fellow human beings. As we all come to understand that love is the most important thing—when we all truly want love to prevail— we will become one big light, the aura that heals the universe.

To create this aura of otherworldly beauty, I have used hand-painted fabrics, hand beadwork, the finest silks, jacquards from Italy and delicate laces from Japan. In my atelier, we have drawn climbing flowers that wrap around the body and embellished them with crystals and pearls placed by hand, one at a time.

I chose to call this beautiful collection “Aura” because these gowns are part of me, my heart, my soul. These creations are the expression of my love for my brides. I create these dresses because I want to bring as much beauty as I can to this world for my brides, enveloping them in light so that they can feel what they deserve to feel on their most special day, when they commit to the love of their lives.
